Don't know Mark haven't changed a thing in that regards. But when you boot it in first it hits 5500RPM before upshifting which I though was very strange . Then as I said compression has been checked its over 170 each cylinder . And corrected horsepower on dyno run was 288.9hp almost 3 over brand new Euro output. And exhaust was 1 7/8th inches each pipe on that run.
Geoff, I have lost track of your progress on the 6.9. I am sure there must be an update somewhere but I have been quite slack for a considerable period of time as far as posting is concerned. Perhaps you may provide members with an update. BTW, what do you think of TK's new layout and features ? Would be interested in your opinion.
Mark, how about you and your 6.9s ? Any progress ? I know that you have sold a couple (one to Darwin I believe), and you seem to be concentrating more so on the W126s. As a matter of interest, have you ever carried out any work on the 420SEL I used to own. Would love to get an update. Regards Styria
