German engineering and Italian styling is a marriage made in heaven.

I really like it. The rear lights remind me of a 50's caddie.

Coincidentally the May 2018: Mercedes-Benz Classic Center News email sent to me today contained this poster for purchase... The 300B reminds me somewhat of Bentley late 50's echoes with just a hint upper body wise of Phantom although both have the rounded front corner panels. Absolutely love the lines of Art Deco automobiles. Called, "Rolling Sculpture" by a particular Art Museum.

Speaking of 300b's, I finally managed to get up to Brisbane and to reinstall the water pump. For those unaware of the location of an Adenauer water pump, it is located in the centre of the block, and on the same side as the intake and exhaust manifolds, so space comes at a premium. The pump is driven by the generator. It is certainly a 2 person job in-situ, as one needs to hold the clamp from the top and the other tightens it up from underneath. They are prone to leaking if not installed precisely. Fortunately, we got it the first time.

No photos of the job and you wouldn't be able to see anything anyway, but here is a couple of photos of the car.
