My mechanic (other than the Godfather, who normally looks after the 690SEL) was on holidays and has just come back yesterday.

But, to answer you, it's no... I haven't asked him, also cause I am not comfortable that he would know *when it comes to 6.9s)

........and all this started back in 2008 ! Happy motoring. Michel, I take it that you have fitted new Air Cells in the meantime ? Is your 6.9's suspension working well nowadays .?

I thought I'd drag out this thread on account of our present discussions concerning the hydraulic suspension of 6.9s. Regards. Styria

That thread was started 12 years ago Godfather!

We’ve since had a GFC, many birthdays and GTGs as well as miles of road travelled. We’ve even weathered a global pandemic!

You’ve had many trips over to Prestons for various reasons — some to check out the 690SEL — and i have to admit, the car has been behaving very well, as long as it’s taken for a decent drive every once in a while.
