Question Rover Drive

I have been searching in vain for a description of Rover's in house design of their own Automatic Transmission. Available in the mid fifties in R100S ??.
I'm sure Michael would know a site. A local Car Dealer asked me to have a look at one with a problem in the late sixties... I declined his kind offer !
