Question Re: Parts clean-out - 116, 108/109 and sundry.

Back in 2015 there seemed to be a lot of enthusiasm for a Bring & Buy Sale of surplus Parts. But i was the only one to bring along Bits at the anointed get together. Shall we try again Michael ?

Anthony, all done. Will talk to you regarding price on rocker covers and sump. Don't know if you have seen the advert. on M100 site, but you only just got in first with the Rev. Counter. I have seen those advertised on ebay for $US 250. That was a while ago. I have some other items as well, the details of which I will add as an additional post once I have compiled the necessary information. Regards Styria

Hi Sean, I certainly agree with the idea of having 'boot sales', and I wellremember the day when you brought along a number of items for sale. Don't forget, I did buy a couple of items from you, so I am all for the idea of selling on that basis. Unfortunately, it is not always convenient to sell on that basis. First of all, one has got to assemble and find all the various parts but, more importantly and I am being negative now, our TK gtg do not attract a large enough number to make it a viable and paying proposition. Besides, and you can call me silly, I am a little reluctant to mix business with pleasure.

In this instance, it is a bit of a 'free for all', and I am more comfortable with that. Regards. Styria

Question Re: Parts clean-out - 116, 108/109 and sundry.

Well Michael, we are all in the business of keeping old Mercs running .. Yes ...
We may talk to each other about our issues ...Yes ... So if someone picks up a part to help another , I don't understand any objection. In the various Vintage Motor Cycle Clubs I have belonged to there was a table at each monthly meeting with items for sale. Worked well for every bodies benefit.

Sean, a "monthly goodies table" is an excellent idea. In our instance, we don't have that luxury of a monthly meeting. That stops developments in that regard. Regards, Styria
