Do you have your own shop?

I like it, and I will like it even more once the motor is rebuilt. We are having custom forged pistons made, with a modified crown (higher compression), fitted with late 280SL piston rings (pistons being made to suit the rings, not vice-versa) and a slight tweak to the cam.

I can only concur with the majority regarding the magnificence of some of the cars shown. Incidentally, it's a pretty tricky site - not a lot of information just pictures of cars to die for. Well, so to speak. However, being the nosy "Parker" that I am, I opened up a link and this is what I came up with - hopefully !

Now, there is some serious looking and some serious machinery. I am going back now to have a look and muse which one is the one to appeal the most. Regards Styria

I have come across this picture showing details of the ""optional"" (?) luggage that one could presumably order from the factory. I mean, I must express my disappointment (tongue-in-cheek of course) at the colour chosen for the luggage, and the straps as they certainly do not match the colour scheme of the car. Also, I have looked at the leather covered instrument binnacle - are they fair dinkum or what ? I should think it should have been constructed of timber. Am I wrong ? Anyways, interesting to see just what the luggage consisted of.

Regards Styria
