Default Removing the Ignition Barrel & Steering Lock

Has anyone here removed the igntion barrel before??

I mean removing all of the items, including the steering lock (through the steering column).

I've removed the ignition barrel before, but from my understanding you need to use the ignition barrell to remove the steering lock.. Please explain?

Also does anyone have a wiring diagram for the wires connected to the ignition barrel, and what's what?

Any help appreciated.

Lukas - this may lead to grabbing that maintenance manual back off you for a short while.

Does anyone have wiring diagram for the wires on that plug at the back of the ignition barrell??

I don't remember exactly where the pin is, that's why you need the mirror. However, the whole assembly does pull out once the pin is pressed down.
