This is probably a better page to start off with - One can only wonder if Timmy has an opinion on this link, or if he has gotten lost somewhere digging up stuff on Facebook. Good on you, Timmy ! Regards Styria

This may also prove of additional interest for Sean.

Thanks for the 107 Link Styria....I could not agree more about the 110 DOHC Engine. Light and nimble. It was my choice over a V8. I bought a new 380 Sl in 1981 and sold it after 48K as it started to burn oil. I also remember it having a hard ride. My '81 280 SL I find to be smooth and I'm much older now ! The springs are original but the Shocks are new and very firm. Modern Michelin Energy Tires probably help.

Not sure if that is compliment or a having a dig at me for finding another link on Facebook?

Is Facebook unpopular here on the Forum?

None the less just thought W107 fans here might enjoy reading about the W107 site?

Cheers.

6.9 forever - yes, it should be called a R107. When Admin. is eventually sorted out, this anomaly will be rectified. The same as the time period - it is now longer than forty years since the introduction of the R107 range.

Timmy, you're being congratulated, praised and lauded for your well informed and well thought out activities on Facebook. Regards Styria
