Default Chromiing Parts

Hi all,

I have a 1972 350SL that I am restoring and need to chrome both bars, door handles and boot lock.
Any preferred suppliers pitfalls to look out for?

Thanks
Terry

I've used All Models Superchrome (Villawood)
93 Malta St, Villawood NSW 2163
Tel: 02 9727 5322
They are also known as Astor Metal Finishes.

I've had no problems.
They do things the old fashioned way and are not that expensive.

Thanks to you Michel, I did engage their services a little while ago with a certain amount of satisfaction. The result of the repairs and the quality of chroming were more than satisfactory. All that was, about two months ago.

Since that time, I was going to entrust them with some further work - to be precise, 12 pieces of front and rear bumper bar parts from a Chassis 109 car - 6.3 to be precise, although items from the Ch. 108 range is the same. The price quoted was close enough to $4.5K. plus GST - serious money. I entrusted another company with the work at a good saving. If anyone is interested in getting some chroming done at a fair price, with good quality, I will be picking up the items already chromed, but would be happy to take further work to them if I can get the parts by the middle of next week. Regards Styria

Hello Terry,

If you have not objection sending what you need to be chromed and I know you are located in the Sydney area?

Well I can suggest Hamilton Chrome here in Newcastle speak to Morgan.

Morgan re-chromed the panel of chrome on the boot of the 300SE superb job!

If you Hamilton Chrome's contact info Terry let me know?

Cheers.
