Even in this half-constructed form the outstanding lines of the DS are clear. What a car!

Brian

I've got my DS back now. very happy with how it looks!

Next step is to re-assemble the rear part of the car:

I've also sourced some better c pillar trims to replace the wavy ones on my car:

One NOS one good used. My goal is to get the car back on the road before I have to go the USA mid October.

Assembly of the rear is only the penultimate step.
After that one, you have to invite us all for a test drive day.
Actually, that could be a fun event - a drive to somewhere for lunch and swap cars ....

Brian

October would be a good choice: Nice warmish weather, I'm mostly in town, etc...

My suggestion would something like meet at the MacDonalds on the M4 - go the M7/M2 and up to the Bells Line of Road. Possibly a Sunday morning with a start around 8am?
If we get enthusiastic takers I will organise; if not, it will be just a good idea that never grew legs ..
Others may have different routes to suggest?
Regards,
Brian

I think it's a great idea. The main barrier for me will be timing. I have some international travel around oct, dates not finalised yet.

Sounds good.

We could have some interesting cars there if we can get a good turnout of TK members.

Sadly there is either little interest or people read only their own posts and don't now about this discussion....

Brian

Perhaps when we are close to a date we can start a new thread that might have more interest.
