Default From Villa d’Este with love...

Some pictures of the amazing Concours d’Elegance at the stunning Villa d’Este near Lake Como in Italy.

I will be catching a flight back this afternoon (Italy time) back home. Enjoy!

Oh my! Some beautiful lines there; some gorgeous metal - and even some people I know!

5 star rating Michel.

Brian

My bad Michel.
I’ve just noticed the car is not a Fiat Jolly, but an Austin Mini

Anyway, I still want it

Confusion accepted and forgiven, however that Mini was so cute but definitely not for sale!

You have used your camera well.
I just love the engineering artwork in some of those engine bays !
This event always seems to come up with a range of one off body styles, they are also artwork.

Michel,
When you attend this show next time, please do yourself a favour and travel about one hour away from Lake Como to a place called Cola.
Here you will find a wonderful hotel my wife and I frequent.
Villa Dei Cedri Spa Hotel, near Lake Garda.

Best natural hot springs in northern Italy.

This was also the Northern Italy headquarters of Irwin Rommel.
So this satisfies my war tour related trips, and the wife who loves a good spa

This looks like a stunning place Patrick,
I'll see if I can convince Paula to go that way on our next trip to Italy as she usually prefers Portofino or Rimini.
