Default Mercedes Type 400

With acknowledgements due to Hermann Ries and Eberhard Schroeder from Mercedes Classic. In no small way thanks to the abovementioned, TK members have the opportunity to peruse this article at future times when perhaps, the magazine has long been discarded, never to be found again.

It is a grandiose car, with a beautifully sculptured frontal appearance. In the best of British tradition, but obviously German manufactured. Regards Styria

Indeed a car I would like to drive. Anyone got a spare one?
The supercharger would make a real difference and would probably be sufficient to keep the vehicle in tune with modern traffic flows. I am of the opinion that unless you can drive a car such as this you should not be allowed on the road.
I note the introduction seems to imply that it is not easy to drive. Fiddlesticks! All it takes is focus and nerve.
Regards,
Brian

That 400 is a superb Vintage car!

Speaking of Vintage there will be a 1912 Benz on display on Saturday.
