Well it certainly went cheap.... $1,575

Nice car too, if the winner had a M116/117 motor and gearbox laying around, they'd be pretty well off I'd say.

Don't despair Michel, it's up for sale again. I find it interesting the seller wants the cash within an hour of the auction ending

It caught my eye first time round too, but just too much on my plate at the moment. I'd be screwed without a motor and tranny anyway. Still, a cheap 107 project. That 6.9 motor should drop straight in

Hi Oscar, I am not so sure that this car represents the bargain it conveys to be. Anyone taking it on would have to be pretty proficient from a mechanical point of view, and it is the hidden items that can cost REAL money.

In addition, exterior brightwork, rubbing strips and moulds are again not bargain basement prices and the cost factor can soon get out of hand. Anyone buying - be careful. Regards, Styria
