Default 6.9 Suspension Height

Yesterday I took measurements of suspension height settings of a well maintained car belonging to one of our esteemed members. The readings were as follows on normal height:

R/F 65.5 Next morning 66.0
L/F 66.0 Next morning 66.0

R/R 65.5 Next morning 66.0
L/R 66.0 Next morning 66.0

High Setting: R/F 70.5 L/F 69.5
R/R 70.0 L/R 69.5
On the day, I then drove the car from Wentworthville to Lane Cove (say about 20K.), and the rear suspension only went up half way to the high setting. Another thing I noticed that when the owner sort of plonked himself into the driver's seat, and without touching or doing anything, the front rose slightly without anyone touching anything. I have never experienced this before.

Measurements were taken in line with centre of hub to the inner edge of the rolled part of the guards - on the inside. For perfection, I would probably suggest that the normal setting at the rear should be about two millimeters lower. Regards Styria
