Hi All

My 6.9 has gained Historic Registration, car info is below.

MERCEDES BENZ 450 SEL 6.9
Year: 1978 / 79
VIN/CHASSIS: 11603622005012
ENG No: 10098522005115
Odometer Indicating: 175351 KM

Its a European Mercedes from all reports and data card information.

Still needs some internal touches, seats, AC etc

The /8 has never been my favorite Mercedes but the pre facelift 280E is definitely the one to have, even more than the coupes. love the colour too,

Them "wus" the Days ...... Back in the Seventies I bought a new 280 E every couple of years and got my money back each time when sold. I was living in Brisbane then and sold the cars to a Sydney used car dealer on the phone.
I can't remember why it was so . .....But whose complaining.

They must have been a revelation in their day. 185hp DOHC six when most other cars on the market didn't have half that.
