Default 560SEL Barn find in Italy

Almost fully optioned with HPFE, split rear seats & rear blind! I even like the colour combo....

Apparently given to the owner by his uncle. Ex officials vehicle (donít we hear that a lot?) and the keys have been lost. Sitting there for about 16 years. Hopefully the alloy parts arenít Swiss cheese now!

yes I would be interested to see the option list. I can;'t see the ortho seat controls near the seatbelts, so don't think it has those. The angle of the photos means I also can't tell if it has front heated seats.

Looks like two buttons in the rear for each side of the rear seats. Does this mean heat or just two buttons to move them?

I assume its an 89 or newer as it has the soft leather.

Mine is 1987 and has the update interior. If fitted the rear seat heater switch is on the door next to the window switch. The ones in the console between the rear seats are just to adjust the seats.

Interesting, my 88 didn't have it, but my 89 did.

My 89 was 446528 and my 88 392788, so I assume the change happened between those two numbers.

That is a great find.

It looks very similar in colour to mine which is DB929 Nautical Blue.
That dash & rear seats are fantastic.

What are the plans for it?

Does he need suspension valves and/or struts ? Mind you, it would not surprise if the thing would lift itself once the engine was started. They are that sort of car - either go or else no-go which can be frustrating. Just as a matter of interest - with all components working well, just starting a car and letting it IDLE for half a minute, will get the car off its haunches.

There is no real need to rev the guts out of an engine. Regards Styria
