hi, you speak for yourself ! Still, on this subject matter - I received an $880.00 (app.) Green Slip renewal from NRMA. Naturally, somewhat desperately, I checked with Shannons as I have comprehensive on Gleaming Beauty ($23,400), but only Third Party Property Damage on the Captiva - also with Shannons of course - NOT comprehensive. I finished up paying $480.00 for the Green Slip.

Incidentally, GB is now on Historic Club Plates and the saving on Comprehensive is remarkable. Forgotten exactly how much, but it is substantial. Regards Styria

Happily I was able to throw one more greenship renewal in the bin today as the DS is now on the logbook historic plates.

It is having a spare brake accumulator fitted so I can have mine rebuilt but will soon be sporting the little purple plates.

Just paid $502 for a green slip through Shannons for the CLK320 convertible!
You can't beat their prices if you've been insured with them for a few years and you have a lifetime 65% no claim bonus!

The main focus has been on Green Slips and it would appear that Shannon's, as a rule, seem to be the preferred choice. I certainly support them.

However, regarding Household Insurance cover on the contents of our home - for this coverage, we have chosen APIA for many years now. About 35K. cover - roughly $32.00 per month. It would not surprise if that organization also operates under the same umbrella as Shannon's, AAMI, GIO et al. Would you believe, mental block and I can't remember the name of the parent company - probably a bit early in the morning. Regards. Styria
