Re: Shannon’s Eastern Creek 2029

I see you photographed Frank's Citroen GS. He slides on that fake exhaust tip for conversation at the various car shows. He's also been known to enter the field on three wheels (possible in a...

Re: 6.9 exhaust

Have you seen the Carobu 560 system they have recently started advertising?

http://www.carobu.com/hb-sport

Same principles could probably apply to the 6.9.

Re: 560sec ece

I went away for a long weekend to the blue mountains and took the 560SEC. I've now got about 2,200km on it and it has performed well. There is plenty of power up some of those long sweeping turns...

Re: A nice day for a drive

All the best for next week.

The car looks good. Ikon gold is a great colour for the w116, and as styria says, the centra wheels were some of the best available.

Its a testament to how well these early Lexus were built.

Re: Rubber Seals, Tail Light Lense and Headlight Wipers

I am getting some water into the boot of my SLC.

I was able to get 107-826-02-58, for $67 USD (before tax/shipping), but 01-58 for the other side is NLA. You can get one from URO parts but...

Re: Rusty Gold 6.9 sold for $8K

I would say the opposite. Since a nice 6.9 can be had for the mid to high 20s, why spend $8k on a basket case?
