Re: Car of the week

This certainly is an exceptionally nice car. The front seats could do with a re-foam. Surprising, considering the low mileage of the car. I guess the time factor cannot be ignored.

I don't know...

Re: Get togather

I think it's Craig's retirement plan. No doubt, he is most resourceful, has the money to purchase his cars, and the facility to store them. In addition, he is very knowledgeable, and has helped me on...

Re: A250 4-Matic Sport

That was an excellent, no holds barred report on the A250. Surprised at the perceived coarseness of the engine, and the quality of the upholstery.

Regarding the key issue, my Holden Captiva has a...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

.....and whatsmore, it is a four speed with a Lay#### de Normanville overdrive. Obviously quite a rare feature on the P5 (1963 to 1967) models. The front seats on this car are in remarkably good...

Re: Score sheet

Timmy, it's like this - many years ago, I entered my Gleaming Beauty and my quite stunning Rover 3500S in the Orange Blossom Concours that was held at the Bull and Bush (hotel) at Baulkham Hills. As...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

Sean, definitely 'NO'. The BW 65 box is definitely stronger than the 35. All P5 (6cyl.) and P5B (V8 1968-1973) suffered from the use of this small box (BW 35 only). The cars were simply too heavy...

Re: Chemtech

Timmy, I have heard of the product (may even have a bottle of whatever somewhere), but really can't assist you with advice either way. What is it actually you are looking for ? Let us know. ...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

This P5B - V8 and Borg Warner 35, has just been sold for about $8K. What a striking looking car, but showing some exterior signs of refurbishment required. I have had a closer look at the instrument...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

Dare I say it, but these two cars represent Rovers at their very best. Both examples are nothing short of sensational in their appearance.

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

Bryce, a rare find but, considering its presentation or lack thereof, grossly overpriced. As you know, I was indeed very lucky to have done much better in Canberra - I think the price per box was...

6.9 Queensland

For a change, there is no need for me to criticise a 6.9 listed for sale - as if I should really, but then again it's best to be perspective as to merits or otherwise of an offering.

Re: The Rover P5/P5B
