There is only standrd front legs left, and only one of each left in the world accessable by Mercedes.

The rear torsion bar shackles come in at about $95.00 each by the time they are landed here in Sydney.

I'd have to check availability of the "For Sporty Driving" hydropneumatic legs,...

Front legs, standard is about AUD$900 for genuine MB, sporty is about AUD$700.00

$75 for boots?? :-O

EPC lists two part numbers for rear hydropneumatic spring legs for 6.9's. 116 320 36 13 is standard, 116 320 37 13 is listed in EPC as "FOR SPORTY DRIVING"

Standard is about $825 for new genuine...

I think I'd take Bilsteins over Pedders "own brand".
I can get a pair of rear Bilsteins for your car landed here for AUD$240.00 and they are not that hard to fit yourself, you'd knock it over in 2...

I had a similar issue with my 450SL. And could have sworn that it was properly in park, but I loosed the shifter gate, and the shifter clicked a few mm further forward properly into park.

Are you 100% sure it's fully engaged park? Shifter bushings could need replacing.

abl567 should know what he has, and if it will fit your car. Does your distrbutor cap have the threaded connectors? It should do, being a 1979.

Just make sure they are the right leads, there were 4 different set of leads used for M116 and M117 engines, depending on the engine version and the distributor cap type.
