Thank you Styria and oversize. They are the genuine Mercedes rims.
I think I will just stick with the 14 inch spare.
Punctures are fairly rare these days. Hopefully with the new tyres I won't need...

I have just fitted 4 new tyres to my Mercedes the Mags on the car are 15 inch and I have fitted 205/65/R15 tyres. However the spare is a 14 inch steel wheel. Does anyone have a 15 inch...

Took the Mercedes for a nice drive up to Burrawang and for lunch. First time Robin has been out for a lunch drive since her surgery. Still has a catheter and bag at least till the 14/10 managed OK...

Ok I fixed it!
Many will not approve of my repair but it suits me.
I removed the door handel and removed the roll pin that secures the lock barrel shaft to the screwdriver shaped blade that engages...

I still think it is seized.My mate has a Damiler ex wedding car , it never had the doors locked and it suffers from the same problem I think the tumbler housing is dicast. Dicast...

The key enters the lock ok but won't turn.
I have tried two other keys that fit the drivers door with the same result.
I guess the ignition barrel and right hand door lock may have...

You are right Bobo keeps me going he is 11 1/2 and he still drags me around like a rag doll. Dogs are a great benifit he is our 3 RD long term dog our Boarder collie lived to 14 had a gap...
