Re: The Citroen DS

Re: The Citroen DS

I would adore a DS, a CX or an XM but alas I have enough litres to drain the piggy bank and not enough hours in the day to do justice to them all. I have looked seriously at several CX and XM but...

Re: Battery Power

If Sean is relying solely on battery power he'll get about as far as Lithgow before he calls us for help.

Re: Choosing Rover P5 tyres

Good morning,
A word of practical advice Styria. If selling a car to someone either sell it unregistered or if registered make sure you supply a current pink slip so you can't later be accused of...

Re: Tyre choices

A friend in Melbourne bought a Goodwood Phantom. Not happy with the standard runflat tyres and lack of a spare he had 5 new wheels forged and fitted with conventional tyres and chucks a standard...

Re: Car of the week

It does look like a nice clean car. The tick would be to upgrade the alternator and install and electrically powered AC unit. I have seen some very neat examples of that on custom cars and there is...

Re: car died, think alternator, please help.

Re: Tyre choices

We get about 30,000 ks from the Continentals on the front of the CLK - not impressive is it and they do tend to thump over line markers and cat eyes. You can't rotate them to even the wear because...

Re: Run Flat stupidity

For that reason alone the Volvo makes sense.
I get at least 2 punctures a year in anyone of the 5 cars; living in the inner city means lots of building work and hence screws and nails on the road....

Read how long they last:

Anyway, a friend...

Cvt?

I know the theory of a CVT but have never driven a car with one - and don't know anybody who has.

Brian
