I think I found "the one"! Also sourced some Smalley brand retaining rings for top and bottom retention. Might even sell these as a kit to recoup some "R&D" costs. Let me know if you guys...

Sorry to revive this very old post but has anyone located a magic stash of these dust boots?
I know there is a workaround but the original boots really do fit perfectly.

Might be your expansion valve sweating and dripping down? Unlikely as they are covered in tar tape from the factory, but worth a gander methinks.

I know some guys run a thicker Hydraulic Oil such as a 22 or 32 weight to give a firmer ride. I believe the Febi ZH-M oil is 15 weight. I think as long as you stick to a good quality mineral oil,...
