Re: Sold for $79K?

Mark, is there any reason for your sceptism regarding the sale price ? Personally, whilst that Silver Blue (?) was a particularly popular colour, I always though it lacked "life". Regards ...

Talking Re: Car of the week

Re: Car of the week

Re: Car of the week

Re: Top Gun 2

Yes, I'll second that. Heaps of people knock Tom Cruise, but he is a great actor and has heaps of screen presence. Regards Styria

Re: Damaged 6.9 for sale

So Geoff, what's happening with your car these days ? You have already spent the veritable fortune for brand new spare parts, and your car was with the painters. Any variation from that ? Do you...

Re: W116 Daily Driving Mileage

Hi Aussie 6.9, they are that sort of a car - you can drive them hard if need be, and when you get to your point of destination, that engine will still idle "contendedly" as if you had just started...

Re: Aus 6.9 - aud135,000

I have just discovered the UK listing of another 6.9 at a price 55K. sterling. Judging by the photos, this has to be one of the best 6.9s I have seen in print. Interesting how much has been spent on...

Re: Aus 6.9 - aud135,000

Interesting - it has increased by close enough to about $100K. in four years. It's difficult to assess a car from slightly below average quality photos, but I see the normal problems with the front...

My 1964 Rover Mark IIA Coupe

I managed to acquire this car, an absolute favourite of mine (it was !), back in 1971 for $1300.00. I spotted the car, initially in all white livery, somewhere at Artarmon from a carpenter by the...

Re: Rover 3500S Rebuild

I have forgotten whose Ch. 109 (6.3 - 3.5) was sitting in front of my garage. Well spotted by yourself, it is indeed a 450SEL parked across the road. That was a car owned by the second in charge of...
