Re: Mercedes greatest hits

the 500 is the better option and the M119 is pretty...

Re: Car of the week

I think it is a lovely car in a good colour with excellent service history.
I think the aftermarket wheel arch trims should be removed if they want to sell it for top dollar.

I think the price...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

Interestingly even Jaguar had their limits. During the development of the 420, they decided that the BW35, which they had recently placed behind the 3.8 liter in the S-Type and MKII instead of the...

Re: Car of the week

Here is the world's worst W126 ute conversion.
Even well done, I don't see the attraction, but this thing is an abomination.

Re: I can see clearly now!

These cars do pretty well in poor weather.
There is a corner near where I live that after a big rain there is often an SUV on its side with a bemused driver wondering what happened.

The 300SE...

Re: W126 Exhaust Performance Upgrades

May be cost related? Benz sold their cars for a much higher price so had more room to work in terms of the specification and still providing room for a profit....

Its the old story like the...

Re: Car of the week

My father had an early 80s Cressida as a company car for a short period. This was of course back in the days before FBT so company cars were much more common. I can't remember all the details, but...

Re: Car of the week

That finnie looks pretty good but is priced like one that needs no work and has history.

The 380 is not bad but I am no fan of that colour. I like the earlier ikon gold but not the w126...

Re: The Rover P5/P5B

In some ways for a very...

Re: Carobu Engineering - 560 Dyno Testing

Interestingly the dual snorkel intake is apparently worth 25hp over the single one (after their other mods like cam timing etc).

Seems like a pretty no brainer improvement to a car with a single...
