Whilst on Formula 1, I see that Mercedes are changing their...

Re: 420SEL vs 560SEL

Re: W126 self leveling struts

Peter, I think you will find that the 123 Chassis series are quite different to the system on the 116/126 models. The 123 system, to the best of my knowledge, is not a full hydraulic system as it is...

Re: Pay Pal

You certainly hit the jackpot Anthony. The PayPal facility is great. There is a Rover Parts supplier in England that refuses PayPal transactions - sure enough for obvious reasons as I would discover...

Re: W126 self leveling struts

I am totally surprised that my name has not been mentioned. I have rebuilt struts for some five years now, with very few rebuild issues. During the last six weeks or thereabouts, I have rebuilt four...

Re: 300SEL article

Sure enough Timmy, a tale of woe but one that can occur almost any time with old(ish) cars. I was also intrigued by prices being asked for some of the Mercedes models advertised on the Unique Cars...

Re: 6.9 front suspension not raising

Mark, don't know at this stage as we merely removed it and replaced it with one that was giving excellent (well, close enough) cut in and cut out readings. Will have to pull apart the faulty...

Re: 6.9 front suspension not raising

This is an old topic, but nevertheless one that needs to be understood as to its workings, and what actually makes the system work. I do the work and testing with a fellow 6.9 owner who is an...
