Re: XWX alternative

Hi Geoff,

Actually I don't sell tyres as such. I did have a specialist tyre shop some years back but sold out in 2006. I do import XWXs privately however for friends, that's all.

255/50-16 quite common, rear of Ferrari Testarossa, 288 GTO, a few others from memory.

Re: "Frame-off" complete 6.9 restoration

Arrrgggghhhhh, incorrect hose clamps on the fuel lines, along with incorrect hose, engine bay way too glossy, need I go on! It's these small details that made me close the page unceremoniously! ...

Re: XWX alternative

Re: XWX alternative

At the risk of sounding harsh, I've been selling XWXs for 12 years. Of the 300 I have sold since 2002, I have NEVER fitted a set to any Mercedes except my own. I do receive a lot of comments...

Not at all, I received a shipment yesterday of 4 X 215/70-14 XWX and they retail for $345 each inclusive of GST.

Now here is the problem, the current XWX is not legal on the 6.9 amazingly. That's...

Thanks Styria,
