I always thought that would be a cool project for 'the ultimate daily driver'. I would:

1) Start with a late SWB W126 v8
- probably a 420SE as 500SEs are rare here
- soft leather...

Mostly I have just found things like loose change, old receipts, packet of plastic cups etc.

Looks like this car has some promise. I assume the custom EFI means ditching the LPG? itís a shame that the SLS struts for the 560 are now NLA, at least you have some spares.

This weeks' work on the 560 was getting the auxiliary (electric) fan working again.

Good news is that the core system was working fine, a fan swap had it all working again.

They Meyle fan...

They like the wagon because it has a bit extra room for their pram etc.
Since they don't drive manual I have been reading about the expensive of fixing the DSG...

That 6.9 that sold at shannons for 66k a while back is for sale again, on carsales for 32k. That price seems far more in line with that they actually sell for. It looks like a nice car.

I've never seen the Renault Torino before.
I just looked it up on Wikipedia and apparently it came from an Argentinian acquisition. Are any here in Australia?
