The seller has priced it as a low mileage AU delivery 560. I would prefer this,...

Re: Oil filters

I prefer the old style cartridge filters to the spin on because you can look at the filter and also inspect it once removed from the engine. I never really understood why so many jaguar people want...

Re: My Citroen DS21

I decided I wanted a dash light to show me when my electric fan comes on. Luckily I had a spare warning light on my dash - there is one for parking lights that are not fitted to my car. Would have...

Re: 6.3 or 6.9 Barocks/Bundts?

From what I gather, in Europe at the time, there were cultural reasons not to flaunt your wealth that much. Also, this was the time after the Arab oil embargo and so 'gas guzzler' cars were frowned...

Re: 6.3 or 6.9 Barocks/Bundts?

They did the same on the code 822 W126 560's as well. 215 tyres on the 15x7 wheel, the same wheel that other W126 models had 205s.

Re: 6.3 or 6.9 Barocks/Bundts?

That was the 280s.

Basically the four cylinder cars got the 5.5"
Sixes got the 6"
V8's got the 6.5"

There are probably a few exceptions.

Even the 350 got the 6.5 - ...

Re: My Citroen DS21

since getting the DS back on the road I have been doing small improvements and using the car more. I also mounted an auxiliary electric fan like the fuel injected cars have. The other night I...

Re: The end of the 6.9 road :-(

Re: Commodore

That's the great irony of the whole thing, some of the cars they made when sales were strong were not all that great, but by the time they made a truly world class car, nobody wanted to buy it.

Re: S211

I went to replace the wiper blades today.
I had purchased some online from overseas.

I tried to modify these...

Yes the powers that be in Detroit will have noticed the dismal sales figures.
I expect the brand to be gone in the next 5 years, replaced by Chevrolet. We will probably get most of the models...
